King David, Excommunicated From The Church
I thought the title might grab you. We often talk about King David as the poster boy for God’s restoration power. I’ve grown up in the church. Time and time again I have heard how David (King David) is a man after God’s own heart, even after sinning.
Try to follow me on this if possible. What if King David went to your church? What if King David was a leader in your church? Lets go one step further, what if King David were your pastor? Ok, now that you have this picture in your mind, hold on to that. Lets look at who King David was.
King David is a warrior. He is a man’s man. From a young boy he was ready for battle. David killed a lion and bear with his own hands. No doubt few could brag about such an encounter, yet one that was won. David was the young man who killed Goliath with only a sling and a stone. David was a man of faith and strength. Now fast forward to when David was King David.
2 Samuel 11:1 NIV, It was spring. It was the time when kings go off to war. So David sent Joab out with the king’s special troops and the whole army of Israel. They destroyed the Ammonites. They went to the city of Rabbah. They surrounded it and got ready to attack it. But David remained in Jerusalem.
King David began this verse by making a poor choice. He was to be at war. Neglecting his duty led to his temptation. Matthew Henry said, “When we are out of the way of our duty, we are in temptation.” Needless to say while being home he was not worried about battle.
2 Samuel 11:2 NIV, One evening David got up from his bed. He walked around on the roof of his palace. From the roof he saw a woman taking a bath. She was very beautiful.
I love how Matthew Henry said it in his commentary, “Giving way to sin hardens the heart, and provokes the departure of the Holy Spirit. Robbing a man of his reason, is worse than robbing him of his money; and drawing him into sin, is worse that drawing him into any worldly trouble whatever.” This is when it all began. David had someone bring him this young lady and he slept with her. Long story short he got her pregnant. David called for Uriah her husband to return from the battle hoping he would sleep with his wife once he returned home. Uriah didn’t want to sleep with her because his buddies were still in battle. David’s plan was spoiled by this not happening. David didn’t want to be found out as being the father so he sent Uriah back to battle and made sure he was on the frontline, assuring his death.
Amazing that this unbelievable leader has fallen so far. He committed adultery, got someone else’s wife pregnant and than murdered her husband.
Nathan the prophet comes to David sharing with him the Lord knew his secret sin and that his son would die because of this. God shows how much he hates sin, even in his own people; he will not let it go unpunished. I love the fact that David doesn’t say a word to excuse himself or make light of his sin, but freely owns it. David simply said, I have sinned, and Nathan believed him. There are consenquences for our sins. David also had to endure many days and years of extreme distress.
All of us love the fact that after David repented of his sin, God said that David was a man after His own heart. I believe we love this so much because it gives us hope for the sin we have committed in our own lives. We all want God to say we are a man or woman after his own heart at the end of the day.
So back to the picture we had as King David being our pastor. Not all but many would have excommunicated David. Sure he was repenting of his sin but we cannot have a leader that is so evil right? We all agree that sin comes with payment required but many times we really cannot conceive of the leader in our life being restored. There are times the church needs to discipline but not discard.
I love the fact that God kept David as king. David was restored to a man after God’s own heart. But how many times have we seen leaders thrown away in our churches due to sin? A lot of us don’t want to see them restored back to leadership but some how moved on and the sin covered. I have seen some rare cases in which a church has walked through restoration with a leader that was repentant and it was amazing to see someone walking again in their calling.
Galatians 6:1, Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently.
Paul who wrote this passage was bringing the Galatians up to speed on responsibilities of those who are spiritual and how they are directly related to the problem of division in the Galatian churches. Paul describes the problem in the churches, he speaks of “biting and devouring each other” and “provoking and envying each other along with false teachers etc… Paul’s list of responsibilities in this section shows how those who are truly led by the Spirit can bring healing and unity in their divided churches. These responsibilities are both for the church body and individuals.
1. corporate: restore him gently
2. individual: watch yourself
3. corporate: carry each other’s burdens
4. individual: each one should test his own actions…each one should carry his load
5. corporate: share all good things with his instructor
6. individual: do not be deceived…a man reaps what he sows
7. corporate: do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers which includes restoring sinners
I love the fact that Paul points out the first responsibility of those who claim to be spiritual is the restoration of one who has sinned. I believe Paul puts it this way, if someone is caught in a sin, is framed in such a way as to point to the high probability that members of the church will sin. Having a leader sin or anyone for that matter is not hypothetical possibility, it’s reality. The sin that Paul is talking about is never mentioned, that wasn’t the point, it was the manner is which someone who had sinned was treated in sin itself.
Back in this time period the zealots for the law were merciless to sinners. But Paul wants to show that the occasion of sin is the opportunity for Spirit-led people to display the fruit of the Spirit in order to bring healing to those that have fallen and unity in the church.
I experienced a time in my life as a leader when I fell. I decided to live in rebellion and to make poor choices. It’s impossible to make good choices while in the state of rebellion. I fell big time. I lost my ministry, family, friends and all that was important to me. I was repentive and so much wanted to be restored. Most of those close to me ran for the hills, many to never be heard from again. Finding a restoration program was not easy. Finally I was able to find someone to lead me through a restoration process about eight hours from where I lived. Having someone believe in me and realize that God’s calling on my life wasn’t over was an amazing event in my life. Now you understand why I am so passionate about this topic.
Like David I also want to be a man after God’s own heart. So the next time a leader falls in your life like King David did, gently restore them. Walk with an individual who has sinned and guide them through restoration. Do not discard and a leader but restore them. They will be more powerful than ever after experiencing God’s healing, restoration and grace.

Getting Ready for The Battle
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NIV)
For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
We must be ready for battle. So many Christians don’t look at spiritual warfare as something they are involved in.
It takes discipline in order to be ready to experience victory in spiritual warfare. The exercise of discipline is never an easy matter. I’ve been jogging over the last few months and it’s been painful. I have been tempted many times to stop exercising. We must discipline ourselves to be ready for battle, spiritual battle. It’s not if battle will come but when.
In the above portion of scripture Paul is writing to the Corinthians. Paul is not trying to scare the Corinthians. He takes great pain to reassure his readers that he approaches them as Christ himself would. Paul is very bold. Paul says, “We do live in the flesh [en sarki],” he admits. This is the everyday world of human existence with all of the limitations, frustration, tests, troubles that we face. Paul is talking about everyday normal life.
I read an article the other day about war. During the later years of the Great Depression, the American people were faced with mobilizing themselves for a second world war. They rationed their butter, meat, gasoline and other basic items. With the money they had left after purchasing their necessities of life, they paid wartime taxes and bought war bonds to provide even more funds for mobilization. They also sent hundreds of thousands of their finest youth abroad. Paul sees himself in pretty much the same kind of war effort. In Paul’s case it’s a battle being fought on a spiritual front. As you can imagine, spiritual warfare requires spiritual weaponry which Paul is all about. What distinguishes Paul’s weapons from those of the world can be summed up in one word–power (dynatos). Paul’s weapons have divine power and, as a result are far more powerful than anything that is found in the world. One powerful weapon we have as Christians would be the Holy Spirit. I would also include “truth,” “righteousness,” “the gospel of peace,” “faith,” “salvation” and “the Spirit,” put on as the Christian’s armor in Ephesians 6:13-17 that we have talked about in earlier blogs I have written.
The weapons Paul is using are effective. They can demolish strongholds. Ochyrwma is a military term for a “fortified place.” The picture is of an army attacking and tearing down the fortified defenses of the enemy. In the ancient world a prosperous city would build not only a stout wall for its security but also, somewhere inside the wall, a fortified tower that could be defended by relatively few soldiers if the walls of the city were breached by an enemy. Once the stronghold was taken, the battle was over.
I love the fact that Paul’s weapons not only can demolish strongholds but can help us take every thought captive that comes our way so we are obedient to Christ. The verb aichmalwtizw means “to take a prisoner of war.” A lot of the battle that we are facing or will face often comes in our minds. A great book to check out is “Battlefield of The Mind.”
In this day and age the mind is really down played and the needs of an individual elevated. You may have heard this generation is often referred to as “the me generation.” It’s time to put our flesh behind us and reach out to God. We can only do this as we learn discipline and get ready for spiritual warfare. It’s most important to discipline ourselves to be in the Word on a daily basis. In order to do this it’s no longer all about you. You must give up things to study the Word of God. There is no other way to be ready for battle. Reading the Word and praying really are a huge part of getting ready for battle.
Your choice today will not only impact you but your spouse, children and grandchildren. Are you ready to train for battle? We are in the war together but here is the good news, God has promised us victory. You can win the battle in Jesus name.

Getting Into Shape For The Unseen Battle
Over the past few months I have been getting back into shape by jogging. This is huge for me. You must understand I have taken an exercise break since the Ronald Regan administration. I began with the program Couch to 5K. After that I began training for my 10K. I continue to amaze myself by how far I can run, this coming from a guy who had a hard time running a mile back in high school.
I realize, in order to stay healthy my body needs to exercise. Is there pain in getting my body into shape? Yea, big time. I cannot tell you how sore I have been at times. However, I can see my body getting stronger every week.
We need to get into shape spiritually. It’s not a matter of if Satan will attack, it’s when. If we are not prepared we are going to fall flat on our face. I was watching TV this morning. It was the Navy Seals training camp program. They were pushing these guys to their very limits and beyond. They know the battle is coming and if these guys are not in the best shape, they will be killed.
Not every hardship that comes our way is demonic. We live in an imperfect world. I will tell you there are a lot more attacks coming from Satan than we might want to admit to ourselves.
Ephesians 6:10-13
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Janet and I have challenged each other to spend more time in the Word than ever before. We realize with the new book coming out in October and both of us doing more ministry, that we are under attack. We both need to be in shape spiritually. Why would you ever think you could go out and run a marathon of 26 miles if you hadn’t run a mile yet? Why do we feel we can stand up to Satan’s attacks when we haven’t even put on the armor of God yet?
This week I am encouraging you to step it up. Get ready for the attack that is coming. The victory is yours if you are in shape spiritually. There are a number of things you can do to get into shape, I’ll give you three today.
1. Spend time daily in the Word of God.
2. Spend time daily in prayer with God.
3. Find a small group of believers that you can walk with.
That might sound to simple but I promise you’ll see results. Ladies feel free to sign up for Janet’s daily Bible study at ChocolateandGod.com. Men, grab a devotional or your Bible and start reading something daily.
2 Timothy 4:7
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
All of us need to take the battle we are in more seriously if we are going to see the victory we desire. The race can be run but we need to get into shape. Lets begin today.
If you are encouraged, please leave a quick note that you’ll join Janet and I getting into shape spiritually. We would love to have you join us.

The Importance of Obedience
My wife blogs daily, seven days a week. You can find her at Chocolateandgod.com. I read her blog from a few days ago and really wanted to pass it on to everyone. Her level of wisdom is amazing and her study on the book of Ruth is blowing me a way.
Ruth 1:15-16
And she said, “Look, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.” But Ruth said: ” Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God.”
Ruth chose Naomi, her people and most importantly her God. Her decision changed her life forever and put her in the line of the genealogy of Christ. The paths in life that we choose not only affect us they affect our families as well. Take a look at Naomi; she could have decided to just stay in Moab for the rest of her life instead of going back to Bethlehem and as a result Ruth would never have really known God nor would she have been listed in the line of Christ. It is so important to base our decisions on the will of God for our lives.
What about Orpah, Ruth’s sister in-law that decided to stay with her own people and the gods of her people? The book of Ruth doesn’t say anymore about her so I decided to check it out. Whereas Ruth is in the line of Christ, Orpah is believed to be the Mother of Goliath and his brothers. Remember the story of David and Goliath? Wow, what a difference their decisions made in their lives. One family serves and loves God and the other defies Him and His people.
What decisions are you facing today? I would challenge you to be sure that you seek God’s heart in your decision because the effects can be like a stone dropping in a pond, the ripples from your decision can last for generations. God’s best is yours for the taking, don’t settle for anything other than His will for your life, whether it is a job you are about to take or someone you are going to marry or maybe a move you know God has in your life. Make the right choice, ask God to give you the direction and the strength to follow Him! The best is yet to come but you have to choose it!

I Know How Hopelessness Feels
“I know how hopeless feels. When you are staring at the bottom of an empty heart. In my life I know how forgotten feels. Wondering if the world even knows who you are?”
This is a story that I have never shared in public until now. I am doing so because there might be others who are wondering if there is hope and if a new beginning is even possible.
Six years ago I made some very bad decisions in my life. Those decisions pretty much cost me everything, including those who were closest to me. The vast majority of my close friends ran for the hills, very few ever seen again. I remember sitting in an empty home, tears in my eyes, staring at the bottom of an empty heart. I sat for hours with a shotgun in my arms. Thoughts were racing through my head that it was time to end my life, who would care right? Thanks to God for reaching out and touching my heart and using the couple of friends I still had to share with me this was not the end. I made the decision to begin a new journey. I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure a new journey could be taken.
I love the Michael English song, “Feels Like Redemption.” The quote from above is the first part of the song, but it continues to get better, “It feels like redemption, raining down on me. It feels like forgiveness has come to set me free. All my chains have been lifted.” I am grateful that God reached down and touched a broken heart. I’ve never really experienced grace at this level before.
Perhaps today you are full of hopelessness. Let me encourage you that God cares. I had an older man by the name of Don Creech who felt I was worth fighting for and hanging with during this time. He looked me in the eye and said, “Bill, God delights in you right now.” I remember my heart breaking. While others thought I was not worth fighting for, God used Don and a few others to touch the heart of a broken man.
Maybe you are not feeling hopelessness but you do know someone who has messed up and fallen. I would encourage you to go after them. Hunt them down and just show God’s love to them. Get over being offended, help the brother or sister to get back up again. I am convinced if King David were attending church today, he would be asked to leave. David committed adultery, murdered, and lied. Most of the church today would have turned their back on a leader like this and walked away but God saw the heart of a godly man who had fallen. King David had to pay the consequences of his sins. Sin comes with payment required. David repented and at the end of the day God said, He’s a man after my own heart. Most people forget this passage when faced with someone who has fallen.
Acts 13:22 “I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.”
Often people forget this passage when dealing with someone who has fallen.
Galatians 6:1-3, “If someone falls into sin, forgivingly restore him, saving your critical comments for yourself. You might be needing forgiveness before the day’s out. Stoop down and reach out to those who are oppressed. Share their burdens, and so complete Christ’s law. If you think you are too good for that, you are badly deceived.”
Look for the broken, wounded, fallen and show them the love of Christ. Don’t wait for them to call you, go after them. God has a plan for their life. They need to hear there is a new beginning, restoration and the best is yet to come. Look them in the eye and tell them, “God delights in them right now!” even in the middle of their sin and rebellion.
“Now I know how faithful feels, cause I am overwhelmed by this gift of grace. I know, how healing feels, because all of my pain, all of my shame all of my tears have been erased. It feels like redemption raining down on me. It feels like forgiveness has come to set me free. All my chains have been lifted, because when the hand of love touches a broken life, it feels like redemption.”
I have never felt so overwhelmed to share this part of my life with others until now. My hope is someone is able to begin a new journey. My prayer is that you will walk with someone on the beginning of a new journey. Let’s stop quoting scripture, talking about grace and restoration and actually begin living it.
Today I have a wonderful wife who believes in me, family that brings a smile to my face and a wonderful journey worth taking. God is not finished with me yet.
“I cried out to the Lord, He heard my cry, He healed my heart, He touched my life. It feels like redemption. So say goodbye the past is ending, say hello to a new beginning. It feels like redemption.”
Psalm 51:17, “Heart-shattered lives ready for love don’t for a moment escape God’s notice”
The best is yet to come!

Ladies Bible Study Sunday, May 22
Ruth 1:6
Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the Lord had visited his people in giving them bread
God was working in the Israelites lives back in Bethlehem and Naomi heard about it in the heathen land of Moab. When we allow God to lead and work and bless our lives others are drawn to Him. Is your life enough of a reflection of Christ for others to want to leave the lives they are living to have what you have?
I remember the days when my husband and I were so caught up in the rules of “religion” that the only people who would have wanted what we had were the Christians who were made to feel as though they could never measure up. How sad, we were truly Pharisees living in a way that made the loud statement that Christ’s death on the cross was not how we are accepted by God we needed to follow religious rules. You wouldn’t have been able to find even half of those rules in scripture but we were taught that we needed to do these things because it “looked” good and we were setting a standard. A standard for what I would like to ask now?
Sad to say I have seen both sides of things. I also know what it is like to have lived in a way that no one would have had a clue that I had a relationship with God. That side of life is even more sad!
So my question for you is this: where are you today? Is your walk with God something others can see and desire to have Him leading them? Do others even know you have a walk with God? Are you in a place where you are living a life that puts sinners so far from God that they just can’t see it happening in their lives?
We do need to be examples, humble examples of Christ’s love, forgiveness and grace! We need to be Christ followers not Pharisees and certainly not rebellious. Living a life for Christ is a life that will shine His light by showing others His love, forgiveness and grace.
Truly having a walk with God means studying His word and getting to know Him to the point that we look like Him! We can’t look like Him if we haven’t spent enough time in His word to really truly know who He is and His character. The more I study God’s word the more I want to study it! Start today, ask God to show you where you need to start in His word because He knows you better than you know yourself so He is truly the only one who can show you how to begin. Get to know Him so well that when others look at you they truly have a desire to know about Him as well!

God Is Love; Hell, Yes!
I know, it’s an interesting title but one that is very, very true. I have been watching everyone in the media talking about if God is love then there must not be a hell. One pastor actually said if God made hell and he sends people there, than He must be a monster.
God didn’t make hell for people.
Matthew 25:41 “Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and His angels.”
The following passage is directed against the wicked human king of Tyrus, but it goes beyond this human king to the wicked one behind him, the devil. This is very clear because of the things attributed to this person in the verse below.
Ezekiel 28:15 (The Message)
11-19God’s Message came to me: “Son of man, raise a funeral song over the king of Tyre. Tell him, A Message from God, the Master:
”You had everything going for you.
You were in Eden, God’s garden.
You were dressed in splendor,
your robe studded with jewels:
Carnelian, peridot, and moonstone,
beryl, onyx, and jasper,
Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald,
all in settings of engraved gold.
A robe was prepared for you
the same day you were created.
You were the anointed cherub.
I placed you on the mountain of God.
You strolled in magnificence
among the stones of fire.
From the day of your creation
you were sheer perfection…
and then imperfection—evil!—was detected in you.
In much buying and selling
you turned violent, you sinned!
I threw you, disgraced, off the mountain of God.
I threw you out—you, the anointed angel-cherub.
No more strolling among the gems of fire for you!
Your beauty went to your head.
You corrupted wisdom
by using it to get worldly fame.
I threw you to the ground,
sent you sprawling before an audience of kings
and let them gloat over your demise.
By sin after sin after sin,
by your corrupt ways of doing business,
you defiled your holy places of worship.
So I set a fire around and within you.
It burned you up. I reduced you to ashes.
All anyone sees now
when they look for you is ashes,
a pitiful mound of ashes.
All who once knew you
now throw up their hands:
’This can’t have happened!
This has happened!’”
Hell was created because of sin and for the devil and his demons. You can see that the king of Tyrus had unbelievable wealth, beauty along with a ton of opportunities in life. This shares with us what happened to bring about Satan’s fall.
So why was hell created? Perhaps it was the need of separation between God’s holiness and sin.
Luke 16:19-31 (The Message)
The Rich Man and Lazarus
19-21″There once was a rich man, expensively dressed in the latest fashions, wasting his days in conspicuous consumption. A poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, had been dumped on his doorstep. All he lived for was to get a meal from scraps off the rich man’s table. His best friends were the dogs who came and licked his sores.
22-24″Then he died, this poor man, and was taken up by the angels to the lap of Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell and in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham in the distance and Lazarus in his lap. He called out, ‘Father Abraham, mercy! Have mercy! Send Lazarus to dip his finger in water to cool my tongue. I’m in agony in this fire.’
25-26″But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that in your lifetime you got the good things and Lazarus the bad things. It’s not like that here. Here he’s consoled and you’re tormented. Besides, in all these matters there is a huge chasm set between us so that no one can go from us to you even if he wanted to, nor can anyone cross over from you to us.’
27-28″The rich man said, ‘Then let me ask you, Father: Send him to the house of my father where I have five brothers, so he can tell them the score and warn them so they won’t end up here in this place of torment.’
29″Abraham answered, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets to tell them the score. Let them listen to them.’
30″‘I know, Father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but they’re not listening. If someone came back to them from the dead, they would change their ways.’
31″Abraham replied, ‘If they won’t listen to Moses and the Prophets, they’re not going to be convinced by someone who rises from the dead.’”
31-32″His father said, ‘Son, you don’t understand. You’re with me all the time, and everything that is mine is yours—but this is a wonderful time, and we had to celebrate. This brother of yours was dead, and he’s alive! He was lost, and he’s found!”
Verse 26 says, “there is a huge chasm set between us.” It’s a wide deep space. The verse also talks about people not going back and forth, either way.
Why is it they say God is a monster for sending people to hell? Hell wasn’t created for people. God created a perfect world for people and then gave them the choice to choose right from wrong. God cannot be in the presence of sin. God loved us so much, that after the human race sinned and had to be punished with hell, that He sent his innocent son to die on the cross for us and take all sin on his shoulders. God loves us enough that He provided a way for the human race not to be sent to hell. There is no reason for anyone to go to hell, unless they choose that is where they want to spend eternity.
God is crazy about all of us and has given everyone a way out of spending eternity in hell. I’ll never forget a demon speaking through someone once saying, “One day my tongue will confess Jesus is Lord and my knee will bow but today will not be that day.” Even the demons believe in God and know a time of judgement is coming. It sent chills through my body when I heard that demon confess that to me and the others that were standing with me that day.
I am grateful God has made a way for all of us to experience Heaven.
Agreements With Satan
Agreements With Satan
Let me begin by saying I am sorry for no blog last week. I have been traveling non-stop and I just ran out of steam.
Agreements with Satan. I have met a few individuals in my life time that have been involved in the occult or have actually purposefully opened themselves to demons / spirit guides which in the end are the same thing. My guess would be, if we were sitting down having coffee you would tell me that you would never make an agreement with Satan. What if I told you that all of us have done exactly that at some time or another?
I personally never thought about making an agreement with Satan until a few years ago. It hit me like a ton of bricks while on a men’s retreat in the Rocky Mountains. Lets go back a couple of steps. The Bible is very clear that we need to watch what comes out of our mouth.
Luke 6:45 (New International Version, ©2011)
45 A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
Psalm 19:14 (King James Version)
14Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
I love both of these verses because they talk about the importance of what comes out of our mouths. At this point you might be asking how does this compare to making an agreement with Satan, glad you asked. Have you ever said the following? I am ugly, stupid, never going to have a good job, get married, get out of debt, have friends, a good car, get rid of my addiction or anything like that? At some point we all have and that is making an agreement with Satan. All of those statements are opposite of what God says about you. When you say I’ll never have a good job. You are agreeing with Satan that he can steal that from you. When you say I am not smart, you are making an agreement with Satan, believing his lie for your life and not receiving the fact that God has made you in his image.
You may never find your self in an occult or calling in a prayer for Satan to come and visit you but you might unknowingly make an agreement with Satan.
John 8:31
[ If the Son Sets You Free ] Then Jesus turned to the Jews who had claimed to believe in him. “If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will free you.”
The truth is God didn’t make you stupid, ugly, an addict, He made you in His image. God has given you the power, talents, gifting to do anything He has called you to do. The favor of God is on you if you’ll walk in the truth He as for you. Take a few minutes and write down the agreements you have made with Satan. Once you have them written on paper, go through each one praying this prayer. “Lord, forgive me for believing I am (Ugly) and in the name of Jesus I break that agreement I made with Satan and receive your truth about myself. In Jesus name amen.
From this point on you’ll begin to catch yourself when you begin to make agreement with Satan. I caught myself saying, “I’ll never get out of debt.” I stopped and asked God to forgive me and in the same breath broke that agreement I was making with Satan.
I can promise you this will make a world of difference in your life by applying this simple principle. Please share this blog today on Facebook and by other means. So many people need to hear this truth.
